Literacy:  In fiction we will be using the book ‘Danny the Champion of the World’ by Roald Dahl to explore a range of punctuation, grammar, character profiles, story style and design.  We will be comparing and evaluating the story with the film version.  We will also be using familiar texts to develop reading and complex comprehension skills.  In non-fiction we will be reading and writing autobiographies, diaries, letters recounts and non-chronological reports.  There will also be weekly spellings of word families.
