Reception 2007-08 INFORMATION

• The children start on Monday 10th September; their starting times are staggered for the first day only.

• School starts at 8.55 after this first day.

• The children attend for two weeks of morning sessions finishing at 12.00 daily.

• The children are dropped off and collected from outside the classroom.

• The children will start full time on Monday 24th September, school finishes at 3.00.

• The children are invited for two afternoon visits (1.30-2.45) before the end of term, (weeks beg: 18th June and 2nd July).

• Please pass in any information regarding your child from their previous setting as soon as possible.

• There will be a short meeting on Monday 17th September at 1.30 which will focus on how to develop your child’s writing skills.

• A welcome pack has been given to all new parents with the relevant information to help with any queries you may have.

• Please ensure all items of your child’s clothing are clearly labelled, including shoes, coats and all P.E. kits.

• Please ensure your child is brought to school safely using one of the pedestrian paths and not through the vehicular access, especially if other family members are picking up your child.
