Measuring
We went outside and looked for things that were more than 1 metre long/high and less than one metre long/high.
Year 1 have been planting a herb garden in our new playground.
Year 1 class took part in a whole school celebration about Islam.
We have been learning about "forces" in Science. We had great fun investigating which force we needed to use to move an object -
A push or a pull.
Year 1 enjoyed meeting the Pembrokeshire Birds of Prey.
Leila and Jacob both had the opportunity to hold an
Eurasion Eagle Owl.
We celebrated St John Bosco Feast Day on Friday, by being active, kind and sharing with all of our school friends.
We celebrated Chinese New Year this week. We tasted chinese food, made Ox's, counted Chinese years and listened to stories about the Chinese culture. We have been using Chinese chopsticks too!
We had a wonderful time fundraising for Ghana during our Reception and Year 1 'Wet Welly Walk'.
To celebrate World Book Day, we all came to school dressed as our favourite book character.
