Year 4 Footballers Win Goodison Finals
The year 4 footballers won the Everton Academy Finals held at Goodison Park on Monday 17th May. Here are some pics. Match report and more details to follow.
On Tuesday, 20 April, Year 4 visited Rufford Old Hall as part of the History syllabus. We learned about the Hesketh Family, Tudor history and lifestyle. The weather was nice so we were able to have a picnic in the grounds and played football and skipping.
Fantastic Year 4 Footballers Go to Goodison in Finals
The year 4 football team went to Finch Farm on Wednesday17th March and won the Tournament. They will now go to Goodison Park on Monday17th May to play in the final. Here are a few pictures of the team. Well done to Mr Merivale for remembering the camera and remembering to take the pictures. A very big thank you to all the parents who supported their children in such a positive and sporting way. The team are brilliant and we are all so proud but we would still feel the same about them if they had no been as successful.
Fantastic Footballers Win Again and Again
Today the football teams from year 4 year 5 and 6 went to Maghull High School to compete in the Everton Academy Football Tournament. Well they were fantastic and won their competitions to go to the finals at Finch Farm in March. Watch this space for more details. We need a new shelf for all our trophies and medals. Mr MacAreavy thought he was going to have some time off at half term. Thanks children you are brilliant but please stop winning for a few weeks. Well done to you all and thanks for the great support from mums dads and grandparents.
