Tag Rugby Team in Semi Final
The year 6 tag rugby team went to Southport on Wednesday 10th March to compete in a Tournament along side 16 schools from Sefton. They all played really well and went into the semi finals where they lost 5:6 with the last throw of the ball. A great team effort. Well done we are all very proud of your achievements.
Fantastic Footballers Win Again and Again
Today the football teams from year 4 year 5 and 6 went to Maghull High School to compete in the Everton Academy Football Tournament. Well they were fantastic and won their competitions to go to the finals at Finch Farm in March. Watch this space for more details. We need a new shelf for all our trophies and medals. Mr MacAreavy thought he was going to have some time off at half term. Thanks children you are brilliant but please stop winning for a few weeks. Well done to you all and thanks for the great support from mums dads and grandparents.

Year 5 and 6 Football Tournaments Cancelled due to Poor Weather
The year 5 and 6 football tournaments for the boys and girls was unfortunately cancelled today, Friday 2nd October. The organisers phoned school to say that the weather was poor and the decision had been made to play the games on another day. The teams were disappointed but understood the reasons for the decision. I was able to take a few picture of both teams and I'm sure that you will agree that the girls look Absolutely Fabulous in their new kits. I think that even Patsy would like them.
