The Friends ofSt John Bosco will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, 27th February at 7.00 pm
at the Hare & Hounds.
(We will be discussing future fundraising events, and if you have any thoughts or ideas on this matter, or you just fancy coming along to catch up on or become involved in what we do, please come along).

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped at the Family Quiz Night. It was a very successful evening and enjoyed by all.

A very big thank you to you all for the very kind donations for our Christmas Bingo. The response was overwhelming.
The bingo evening was a huge success and managed to raise in excess of £1,600. This includes a very kind donation from Barclays.

The day was very successful and raised approximately £2,500 towards our infant refurbishment.

All funds from Summer Fair to go towards yet another school building improvement that all our children will enjoy.

Who are we?
A group of parents and friends who's aim is to raise valuable funds for the school in order to provide the 'extra' which would not be available within the normal school budget.
What do we do?
During the school year the Friends of St John Bosco organise a variety of events for children and parents. We keep parents up-to-date with these events and how we have spent the money by memos and newsletters sent home with the children. Our events have included Christmas Bingo and Disco, Ladies Evenings, Easter Bingo, Family Quiz Nights and Summer Fayres.
How do we use the funds raised?
Look around you in school and the Friends will have bought many of the things you see, window blinds, playground, computers, televisions, digital cameras, camcorder, video players, DVD/Video players, CD players, gazebos and more.
All of this would not be possible without the support of you, the PARENTS.
How can you help?
We rely on your support by donating, helping and attending any meetings.
