Dear Parents,

On Wednesday 9th September, we sent you an email/school app message in relation to our Annual Home School Agreements asking for them to be read through carefully, digitally signed and returned to the school admin email address - admin.stjohnbosco@schools.sefton.gov.uk . 

Many of you have returned this agreement and I thank those of you who have been able to do this. There are still some families who have not yet been able to do this as of yet and I ask if you could find the opportunity to do so, I would greatly appreciate it.

An important part of the updated Home School Agreement relates to the consent form which enables us to use your child's image on our schools website and also our social media platform (Twitter). It is important to us that we do not publish the images of any children in our school without this prior consent and any images we do use will only be published in the form of photographs of the children completing their daily activities for the school website and on class Twitter pages.

As a school, we are extremely keen to move forward with our use of social media, update our website and share all of the fantastic activities and learning that is happening in our school. Many parents have already approached us asking when pictures of their children will be posted and we have explained that until we receive appropriate consent from our families, we are unable to do this.

To this end, and so that we can speed this process up, we politely ask if you could find the time to return the Home School Agreement as soon as possible. 

We are also going to ask that if you DO  NOT want your child's image used for our school website or on our class twitter page, can you notify the school office (admin.stjohnbosco@schools.sefton.gov.uk) in the form of an email informing us of this by Wednesday 23rd September 2020. 

If you have NOT notified us by this date, then we will assume that you are happy for us to use your child's image on our school website or on our class Twitter pages. It is our hope that by doing this, we can speed up this process so as to publicise our school further and begin sharing all of the fantastic things that are going on in St John Bosco.

Can I also remind you to make sure that you follow your child’s classTwitter page so that you can receive the most current updates of what the children are doing each day? Our whole school Twitter handle is @StJBoscoPrimary.
