Holy Communion Information

Dear Parents and Carers

I do hope that you are looking forward to celebrating your child's First Holy Communion on Saturday, all families have returned their forms so you should know if you are at the 10.00am celebration or 11.30am celebration.  Fr Grant came to visit us this morning and we were able to go through the process of Holy Communion to give the children more confidence.  They are all very excited and looking forward to receiving this special Sacrament and we shall do our best to make this a memorable and happy event.  As I have said previously a special whole class celebration in school will take place when it is safe to do so.  Fr Grant has asked me to remind you not to come too early as the teachers will simply usher families into church were they will sit at a bench per family.  Unfortunately Fr Grant is only able to accommodate parents and siblings in order to comply with strict regulations.  Children of primary school age and under to not need to wear a face covering, children in secondary school and older including parents are asked to wear a face covering again to comply with Church regulations.

We are pleased to be able to live stream your child's special celebration so that friends and extended family may share in this happy occasion all be it at a distance.

Please follow the link.  The boys have been given their sashes and bow ties today and all that remains for me to say is that I look forward to celebrating your child's special occasion on Saturday.

Yours sincerely
