Medications and Antihistamines13 May 2025 (by stjohnb) |
Dear Parents and Carers
Please do not send any medications (including antihistamines, paracetamol, calpol, cough sweets, suncreams, medication/wipes etc) in your children's school bags for your child to administer by themselves.
Any medication brought into school should have a prescription label with your child's name and date of birth on the bottle or box. School cannot administer any generic medication. Parents must complete and sign a medication form before staff can administer any medication to your child/children and the medication will be left in the medical cabinet or fridge in the school office. Staff will do their best to administer medications, but cannot guarantee that it will be remembered during the busy school day.
Parents are welcome to call to the school office to administer medication to their child/children during the school day.
Thank you for your help.
