Welcome back - reminder about snacks1 June 2025 (by stjohnb) |
Dear parents/carers,
We hope that you have had a restful break and we are looking forward to seeing you all at school tomorrow morning at 8.45am. Please ensure that the reception children wear their PE kits as usual.
With regards to the snacks that children bring in with them for morning playtime (Year 1 & Year 2 children), we just wanted to gently remind you that all Infant children are already provided with a fruit snack by the school. We would be grateful if you ensure that if your child brings a snack into school, then they are healthy and easy to manage (e.g. a piece of fruit or a small packet of breadsticks). As you will be aware, the children only have 15 minutes to play during their morning break. Therefore, snacks should be small and easy to eat quickly, so that the children have enough time to engage in physical activity and play with friends.
We kindly ask that children avoid bringing snacks that require pots, forks or multiple containers. We are finding a number of these are left at the end of the day and it can become difficult to keep track of who owns them.
Thank you for your continued support,
Infant teachers.
