Dear Parents and Carers

The teachers have asked me to politely remind you that girls are not to wear earring during the school day.  This has been a part of our school’s dress code for many, many years and the governors would like this to be adhered to particularly with regards to accidents involving ripped ear lobes during PE and at playtimes.  Children are not allowed to swim if they have earrings in and this directive has been in place by Sefton Council for some considerable time.   Bracelets and necklaces are not to be worn for obvious reasons.  Parents may be asked to come to school to remove such items of jewellery and this is clearly not what we would want.

Thank you for your support which is always much appreciated to help us in delivering our exciting curriculum to your children.

Teachers have noticed an increasing number of children bringing squishies, figit toys and other items which are causing unnecessary issues and should remain at home.  This does not of course apply if you child has any sort of support plan where items like these may be considered helpful.
